Summary: The Supervisor, Quality Assurance and Testing defines, implements and leads quality assurance processes, testing methodologies and supporting tools. The Supervisor is an advocate to product and delivery teams within company regarding these practices. Contributes to the development of high-quality systems and products by ensuring adoption of standards, best practices, processes and procedures at every phase of the software development lifecycle for developing and delivering software to our customer.

Leadership/Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 8-10 employees. Performs supervisory responsibilities by managing and allocating employee resources in accordance with company policies, applicable laws and company initiatives/goals. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work (including scheduling); appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Acts as a change agent and develops a high-performing team in the spirit of exceptional service to all internal and external partners.
Qualifications/Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication and strong presentation skills are required. Application development experience as an individual contributor is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven experience with being a team member within an agile culture, including working with delivery, product, and portfolio level teams. Must have strong communication skills; including the ability to gather and communicate metrics across the organization. Prior hands-on software testing experience is required. High propensity to lead and mentor others is required. Experience with Application Development, Agile, Lean, DevOps methodologies, Automated Testing and SQL are strongly preferred. Knowledge of Test Automation Tools including, Browserstack, Appium, Selenium etc. required.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Duties are performed primarily in a home office setting utilizing computer equipment. Travel to attend meetings and visit locations throughout the country may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands.
