Steve Wood

Steve Wood is a seasoned professional in education and advocacy, currently serving as the Senior Education and Advocacy Coordinator at HealthHIV since July 2022. With a longstanding background in the non-profit sector, Steve held various roles at AIDS Community Resources from January 2011 to July 2022, including Director of Insurance Programs and Consultant Trainer. Additional experience includes positions at Rosamond Gifford Zoo as ZooGuide Coordinator, REACH CNY, Inc. as Resource Coordinator/Trainer, and the Central New York Council on Adolescent Pregnancy as Trainer. Early career roles involved assisting in procurement at the Whitehead Institute and Harvard University. Steve holds a B.S. in Zoology from SUNY Empire State College, earned between 2008 and 2010.
