Jason Castro, MPAcc, CPA, is an accomplished accounting and finance professional with a strong background in diverse sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Accounting and Finance at Healthier Colorado, Jason has previously worked as Full Time Contract Talent at Robert Half and as Senior Financial Accountant at National Jewish Health, where responsibilities included overseeing the month-end close process and financial statement production. Jason's experience also encompasses contract roles at DaVita Medical Group and positions at Denver Health, where growth from Senior Accountant to Operations Manager was achieved. Earlier career highlights include significant roles at Donor Alliance and First Data Corporation, alongside foundational experience at Black Creek Capital. Jason holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Colorado State University Global and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Regis University.

Healthier Colorado is a 501(c)(4) with a broad mission to improve Coloradans’ health through policy changes that increase access to quality care or support healthy living. Healthier Colorado is the state’s first and only health advocacy organization that focuses specifically on policy change. The organization is focused on building a grassroots network of Coloradans willing to advocate for a healthier state.
