Mitchell Polack

Mitchell Polack has a diverse range of work experience in the field of healthcare technology. Mitchell started their career at Verizon Data Services, where they provided support for applications running on Microsoft Windows operating systems. Mitchell then moved on to UPS, where they worked as a Capacity Planning & Performance Analyst, providing expertise in CPU, memory, disk, and network performance. Mitchell also worked at the NYC Department of Education as a BizTalk Administrator and Performance Analyst.

In 2007, Mitchell joined Montefiore Information Technology as a Systems Integration/Clinical Systems Analyst. Mitchell was responsible for identifying and analyzing clinical workflows in the surgery department, as well as supporting and deploying Picis OR and clinical modules across three hospital facilities. Mitchell also integrated blood-gas machines and physiological monitors to Anesthesia Manager for real-time vitals data collection.

In 2013, Mitchell became a Clinical Analyst II at New York Presbyterian Queens, where they supported various applications and provided 1st tier support for Allscripts Sunrise Manager, eClinicalWorks, and HL7 interfaces. Mitchell also played a key role in upgrading Picis 8.1 to Optum 8.

From 2014 to 2018, Mitchell worked at Histopathology - Pathline/Emerge Laboratories as an Interface and Integration Specialist. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing HL7 compliant interfaces from LIS systems to client EMRs, as well as managing and supporting the interface environment.

Most recently, Mitchell joined Healthix in 2018 as an Interface Engineer. Mitchell used Intersystems application and custom coding tools to develop and deploy bi-directional clinical data integrations with Healthix HIE unified care record. Mitchell implemented various interfaces and ensured proper data transformation and validation.

Mitchell Polack attended Syracuse University from 1994 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). After completing their education at Syracuse University, Mitchell Polack obtained a certification as a HealthShare Unified Care Record Technical Specialist from InterSystems in June 2023.
