Angela Ryan Lee MD, FACC is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in cardiovascular medicine and medical education. Currently serving as a Consultant and subject matter expert for Hite Consulting, Angela contributes to quality improvement initiatives for hypertension in pregnancy and cholesterol management as part of the Million Hearts initiative. In addition, Angela works as a Medical Editor at MedStudy, focusing on cardiovascular content, and as a Medical Reviewer for Healthline Media. Angela is also a Medical Review Board Member and Contributor for Verywell Health, and previously held the role of Medical Director for Content Development at Knowledge to Practice. Angela's clinical training includes positions as Chief Fellow, Fellow, and Resident in Cardiovascular Diseases at The George Washington University Hospital, along with a brief rotation in medical journalism at ABC News. Educationally, Angela holds an MD from Thomas Jefferson University and dual BS degrees in Biology from the University of Virginia.
