Barbara Cox

Barbara Cox currently serves as the Vice President of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs at HealthPartners, a position held since February 2011, after previously working as the Senior Director of Government Relations. Prior to this role, Barbara Cox was the Director of Government Relations for the Minnesota Department of Corrections from October 2003 to January 2011 and held the position of Director of Public Affairs at the Minnesota Department of Public Safety from February 1999 to October 2003, where management of funding and policy initiatives for state law enforcement was a key responsibility. Academic credentials include a B.A. in Hispanic Studies from St. Olaf College and completion of the Black Belt Leadership Program at the University of Minnesota.
