Sunny Kaul

Sunny Kaul, MD MBA, serves as the Department Chair of HPMG Cardiology and a Cardiologist at HealthPartners since May 2009. In addition, Sunny holds roles as Medical Director for Inpatient Cardiology Services and Chief of Staff - Elect at Regions Hospital, and has been a Board Member at Open Arms of Minnesota since January 2020. An Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School since August 2011, Sunny also contributed as a member of the Board of Councilors for the American College of Cardiology, Minnesota Chapter from July 2018 to June 2021. Sunny's educational background includes an MBA in Health Care from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, a Fellowship in Cardiology from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, and extensive training in Internal Medicine from The Christ Hospital. Additional qualifications feature an Executive Residency in Healthcare Policy and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Indiana University.
