Douglas R. Spingelt M.H.A. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Douglas R. began their career in 2004 as a Practice Manager at Evergreen Hospital, where they managed a Geriatric Specialty Clinic and The Booth Gardner Parkinson's Care Center. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Practice Manager at Polyclinic, overseeing primary care and medical specialties. In 2008, they joined Sea Mar Community Health Centers as the Vice President of Operations, where they provided oversight for multiple primary care locations and various programs. Their responsibilities included managing the Health Information Management program, migrant Seasonal worker and homeless program, WIC program, Home Health, Medical Nutrition Therapy Program, Dietetic internship Program, and Maternity Support Services. Douglas R. also implemented various initiatives such as Meaningful Use, PCMH, and achieving industry-leading customer service. In 2018, they joined HealthPoint (CHC) as the Director of Operations and Patient Experience, overseeing regional operations and change management for primary care Medical, Dental, and Pharmacies in the North Central Region.

Douglas R. Spingelt M.H.A. has a strong educational background. In 1987, they graduated from Bothell High School with a degree in General Studies. Douglas R. went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Ethnic Studies and Business/Economics from the University of Washington, graduating in 1994. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they attended the University of Washington again and earned a Masters degree in Health Administration (MHA).
