Sammy Hanna

Sammy Hanna is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon, currently serving at Healthpoint, Mubadala Health - Dubai, and M42 Health since April 2022, specializing in robotic-assisted hip and knee arthroplasty, arthroscopic surgery, cartilage and ligament reconstruction, and joint preservation. Previously, Sammy held the position of Consultant Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust, where responsibilities included leading education and training from 2016 to 2020 and overseeing elective surgery and enhanced recovery from 2020 to 2022. Additional roles include consulting at Cromwell Hospital and The London Clinic, as well as completing a hip and knee reconstruction fellowship at the University of Western Ontario. Sammy's foundational training includes a specialist residency at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and a research fellowship at University College London, where an MD (Res) was earned in the tribology of total hip arthroplasty.
