Rosanne Hughes has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Rosanne is currently working at Healthscope as a Project Lead since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Norwest Private Hospital as a Nurse Unit Manager from November 2020 to July 2021. Previously, they held various roles at Macquarie University Hospital, including Nursing Manager, Nursing Program Lead Critical Care & Anaesthetic Services, Nurse Unit Manager ICU, Director of Clinical Services, and Acting Deputy Director of Clinical Services. Rosanne has also worked at Dalcross Private Hospital as a Nurse Unit Manager ICU/Deputy DCS from August 1998 to January 2010, at Royal North Shore Hospital & UTS as a Neuro ICU RN/ANUM from April 1995 to October 1998, and at St Vincent's Private Hospital as a Registered Nurse from January 1992 to April 1995.

Rosanne Hughes obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Nursing from the Australian Catholic University, completing their education from 1989 to 1991.
