Becky McMullen

Becky McMullen has a diverse work experience. Becky worked as the Director of Outreach and Enrollment at HealthSource of Ohio since October 2018. Before that, they were a Transition Consultant at Sheila C Johnson Center from May 2018 to September 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Operations Manager at Sheila C Johnson Center from April 2017 to May 2018. Their responsibilities included enhancing operational procedures, systems, and principles, as well as carrying out supervisory responsibilities. From October 2015 to May 2017, they worked as a Billing Specialist at the University of Virginia Curry School of Education, where their role involved collecting and entering claims information, managing accounts, and producing client statements. Before that, they were a Regional Outreach Coordinator at Paramount from May 2013 to May 2015, where they designed and implemented community partnerships outreach plans. Finally, they started their career as a Community Outreach Coordinator at HealthSource of Ohio in September 2009, where they connected people without doctors to medical homes, helped individuals and families apply for Medicaid, and coordinated outreach events. Becky later became the Business Office Coordinator at the same company from September 2003 to August 2009, where they were responsible for the front office operations in a medical center.

Becky McMullen completed their education with a degree in Community Health Worker from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Special Education from Missouri Southern State University in 1996. Becky has also obtained various certifications, including an EMT certification in 2018 and a CPB certification from AAPC in 2017. Becky has additional certifications in community engagement, health care innovation, and strengthening community health worker programs from edX, obtained in 2022, 2021, and 2020 respectively. In 2006, they obtained a CPC-P certification, and in 2010, they obtained a CHW certification from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
