Lamont Douglas Jr.

Lamont Douglas Jr. has a diverse background in caregiving and event coordination, currently serving as a caregiver at Dawnings Social Support Services since October 2017, where responsibilities include providing clients with resources for independence and health. Lamont also holds a front desk position at HealthSPORT and works with the Black shirt crew at Humboldt State University Center Arts, focusing on event setup, security, and hospitality. Prior experience at Humboldt State University includes roles as an Intersectional Intercultural Specialist and office staff in the African American Center for Academic Excellence, as well as co-coordinator for the Qross Qultural Film Festival, which emphasizes queer identity. Lamont's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Multicultural Queer Studies from Humboldt State University, completed in 2016.
