Josh founded Health Strategy in February 2006 and leads the development and execution of innovative pharmacy benefit supply chain strategies. Prior to starting Health Strategy, Josh worked for Pfizer, where he held various positions in their Clinical, Managed Markets and Training departments. He performed pharmacoeconomics and outcomes research, data analysis, and developed a thorough understanding of big Pharma’s role in the pharmaceutical supply chain.
In his current role as Health Strategy’s CEO, his priority is to help patients, plan sponsors and others in the supply chain understand the financial and clinical impact of their decisions in the complicated pharmacy benefit ecosystem. Through Josh’s leadership, Health Strategy has become a leading consultant firm for large, Self-Funded Employers and National/Regional Health Plans who want to maximize their pharmacy benefit.
His passion is negotiating the best value from the supply chain in an effort to save plan sponsors money, while maintaining and improving the quality of care provided to the members they serve.
Outside the office, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and children and taking to the sky as a licensed pilot.
Josh has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
