Lois Freisleben-Cook has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and companies. Lois started their career in 2001 as the Owner and Pediatrician at Comprehensive Pediatric Care, P.C., where they established and developed a pediatric clinic in a rural and underserved community. Lois provided a wide range of pediatric and developmental pediatric care, including monthly consultations and clinics in related areas.

From 2013 to 2014, Lois worked as a Pediatrician-Developmental Pediatrician at Open Door Clinic. Lois then joined Pediatrics/Developmental Pediatrics as an Independent Consultant, where they provided consultation and ongoing care for Children with Special Health Care Needs. Lois actively contributed to the development of expanded models of service delivery for patients in remote locations and also served as a volunteer mentor for the Meritus Scholarship Program.

Lois has also gained experience in the telemedicine field. Lois worked as a Provider, Telemedicine Care at HealthTap from 2015 onwards and later joined American Well as a Provider, Telemedicine in 2016.

Additionally, Lois has worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Mad River Community Hospital, Medestar, and undertook locum tenens coverage as a Pediatrician.

Lois is currently attending the University of Nicosia, pursuing an MSc in Digital Finance and Blockchain. Lois has also been involved as a Mentor with the Meritius Foundation, providing guidance and assistance to college students in various aspects of their personal and professional development.

Lois Freisleben-Cook has an education history that includes several prestigious institutions and a focus on various areas of study. Lois began their educational journey at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where they obtained their MD degree in Medicine in 1980. After completing their medical degree, they went on to pursue a residency in Pediatrics at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles from 1980 to 1983.

Following their residency, Lois Freisleben-Cook continued their education at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where they completed a fellowship in the Clinical Genetics Residency Program from 1983 to 1985. Additionally, during the same period, they also pursued a UAF Fellowship in Developmental Disability under the direction of Dr. Tim Hall and Dr. Steve Funderburk.

From 1985 to 1987, Lois Freisleben-Cook further expanded their expertise in the field of Epidemiology of Birth Defects and Developmental Disability by completing a Fellow Epidemic Intelligence Service at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
