Rich Lopez

Rich Lopez is the current Vice President of inSight Advisory Services at HealthTrust. Rich has held this position for 6 years and 6 months, and is responsible for sales, marketing, product development, and overall leadership of the Workforce Solutions Advisory Practice. Prior to their current role, Rich was with Quorum Health Resources for 10 years and 6 months, where they served as Vice President/Principal & Practice Leader for QHR's Workforce Efficiency Consulting Practice. In this capacity, their primary roles included the development, management, leadership and coaching of QHR’s Workforce Efficiency Consulting team. Rich also took a leadership role in consulting engagements to assist hospitals with improvements in workforce efficiency, operational cost reduction, and performance turnaround. Rich has a background of over 20 years in the healthcare industry with experience in all aspects of improving operational performance. Rich is an Industrial Engineer by training and their work has been predominately in the healthcare field dealing with operations analysis and performance management. Their project experience ranges from improving patient flow, conducting operational and clinical benchmarking, utilizing Six-Sigma and Lean tools, performing ICD-10 assessments, analyzing the supply chain and reviewing clinical resource variation.

Rich Lopez has a Master's in Healthcare Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Mississippi State University. Rich is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
