Jared Green

Jared Green has extensive work experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. Jared is currently the Director of Business Development - Partners at HealthVerity, where they focus on developing and managing strategic partnerships.

Before joining HealthVerity, Jared worked at IBM for several years. Jared held the position of Senior Manager in Strategy & Business Development at Watson Health, IBM's AI healthcare business. In this role, they played a key role in driving new business initiatives, including partnership strategies, lead sourcing, and pursuing channel partnerships. Jared also led strategic projects and supported corporate planning initiatives.

Prior to their role at Watson Health, Jared was Vice President and General Counsel at Merge Healthcare, an IBM Company. Jared provided legal counsel on corporate governance, risk management, and supervised all litigation matters. Jared also played a crucial role in the sale of Merge Healthcare to IBM.

Earlier in their career, Jared worked as a Corporate Counsel and Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs at Merge Healthcare. Jared also gained experience in IT and Business Law at Goodman and Carr LLP.

Jared's work experience also includes serving as Counsel at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. In this role, they acted as lead counsel for the ePhysician Project and provided legal support for various healthcare IT initiatives. Jared also advised on corporate governance, competitive procurement, and commercial contracts.

Jared Green's education history consists of three main milestones. Firstly, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from McGill University between 1990 and 1994. Following that, they attended York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, where they pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from 1994 to 1997. Lastly, Jared pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management between 2003 and 2006.
