Matthew Ames

Matthew Ames has a diverse work experience in various roles. Matthew started their career in 2015 as a Marketing and Business Development Intern at BEST ODM INC, where they conducted market research and managed sourcing activities. In 2017, they worked at Clockwork College as an Operations Manager, where they designed workflows, integrated branch offices, and created a digital library of educational materials. Matthew also briefly served as a Curriculum Designer and Teacher at Clockwork College. From 2018 to 2022, Matthew worked at Jobin Machine, Inc., first as a Data Analyst, where they gathered and analyzed data to provide business process recommendations. Later, they became a Data Engineer and designed an automated ETL pipeline and created data validation Excel sheets. Currently, Matthew is working at HealthVerity as a Data Engineer.

Matthew Ames completed their education at the University of Pittsburgh from 2011 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During their time at the university, they pursued a major in Global Management and a minor in Chinese Language. Additionally, in 2015, they briefly attended Mandarin House to further develop their proficiency in the Chinese Language. In 2013, Matthew also had the opportunity to study International Business at Fudan University, and in 2012, they briefly studied the same subject at Tsinghua University.
