John Cheng

John Cheng has a diverse work experience, starting in the year 2000 as General Manager at LeBest Australia Duty Free. Following this, they worked as a Medical Officer at MOH Holdings Pte Ltd from March 2008 to May 2010. John then became a Medical Officer Trainee in the Family Medicine department at the same company from June 2010 to November 2013. In 2014, they worked briefly as a Medical Doctor at Aesthetic Medical Holdings Pte Ltd before joining Healthway Medical Group. At Healthway Medical Group, they began as a Family Physician in April 2014 and eventually became the Medical Director and Head of the Primary Care division in September 2016.

John Cheng completed their education in a chronological order. John began their education at Ipswich Grammar School, where they completed high school from 1991 to 1995. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy at The University of Queensland from 1996 to 2001. John then enrolled at Fudan University and obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree between 2002 and 2007. Following this, John returned to the National University of Singapore and earned a Master's degree in Family Medicine (Master of Medicine) from 2010 to 2013. In 2015, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology at the National University of Singapore. John later pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree focused on Healthcare services and delivery from 2018 to 2020 at the same institution. Additionally, John Cheng obtained various certifications throughout their career, including COVID-19 updates from the National University of Singapore in 2020 and several certificates in aesthetic medicine and dermatology workshops in 2014.
