David F. Ertel

David Ertel is the Chief Financial Officer of Vizient, Inc., a company dedicated to performance improvement in the health care space, where he is responsible for information technology, financial operations, accounting, internal audit and treasury, and mergers and acquisitions. Vizient focuses on cost, clinical quality, and performance improvement, and is a trusted partner for the nation’s leading health systems.

Before joining Vizient, David served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of the University of Miami’s health care enterprise (UHealth), and, prior to that, as Chief Financial Officer for the Einstein Healthcare Network (EHN), an integrated delivery system in the greater Philadelphia market. He has also been a Managing Director and the head of the Health Care Group at Morgan Stanley.
