Meg Negron (Russell) has a diverse work experience in the fitness and wellness industry. Meg started their career at MediFit Corporate Services in 2010 as a Program Manager/Personal Training Team Lead. In this role, they oversaw day-to-day operations at a Corporate Wellness Center and supported over 100 personal training sites nationally. Meg was responsible for sales, program development, and analyzing company profit margins.
In 2013, Meg joined Healthworks Fitness Centers for Women as a Fitness Director. Meg held this position until December 2015. During their time at Healthworks, they then took on the role of General Manager from July 2015 to October 2021. In this position, they managed the overall operations of the fitness centers.
Currently, Meg serves as the Director of Operations at Healthworks Fitness Centers for Women, starting in October 2021.
Meg Negron (Russell) pursued their education at the University of New Hampshire. From 2000 to 2004, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Meg furthered their education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Recreation Management and Policy from the same university between 2007 and 2009.
In addition to their academic achievements, Meg has obtained several certifications. In December 2008, they became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In July 2009, they obtained the Functional Movement Screen Certification, although the institution providing this certification is not specified. Meg's commitment to professional development continued in October 2012 when they gained certification as a Spinning Instructor from Mad Dogg Athletics®. Most recently, in February 2021, they completed the Transformational DEI Certificate program offered by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
