Iman Khatib

Iman Khatib has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral health. They currently hold the position of Director of Behavioral Health at HealthWorks for Northern Virginia, where they have been working since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Behavioral Health Clinician at the same organization from October 2022 to September 2023.

Iman Khatib also has experience in academia as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University since January 2022.

In 2021, they worked as a Clinician at Thriveworks from October 2021 to September 2022.

Before that, they held the role of Program Director at Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program from November 2020 to February 2022.

In 2019, they worked as a Primary Therapist at Center For Discovery from July 2019 to November 2020.

In 2018, they worked as a Mental Health Therapist at INOVA Hospital from June 2018 to June 2019.

Their work experience also includes roles at FAITH Social Services from 2012 to 2016, where they served as an Emergency Assistance Coordinator and organized a significant food distribution event. Iman Khatib obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from George Mason University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Iman then pursued further education by completing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Art Therapy/Therapist at The George Washington University from 2016 to 2018.
