Healthy Land & Water
Raphael Carvalho is a Senior Scientist at Healthy Land & Water since January 2024, specializing in project management to enhance water quality through budget control and strategic scheduling. Previously, Raphael served as a Senior Analyst at AECOM from July 2019 to September 2023, where leadership in the audit coordination related to the Brumadinho tailings dam failure was a key responsibility. Earlier roles included Environmental Technician at AECOM, focusing on environmental project coordination and impact assessment, and a Sustainability Intern at Porto do Açu, supporting environmental permitting and compliance monitoring. Raphael began professional experience at AECOM as an Environmental Technician and Project Intern, contributing to various environmental initiatives. Educationally, Raphael holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and an MBA in ESG and Innovation from PUC Minas.
