Healthy Land & Water
Vanessa Durand is an experienced project engineer and sustainability consultant with a strong focus on integrated water management and ecological sustainable design. Currently employed at Healthy Land and Water since July 2017, Vanessa has held roles including Project Engineer and Rural Catchments Officer. Prior to this, Vanessa contributed to catchment planning in a peri-urban context at Toowoomba Landcare Group during 2016, as part of a master's thesis. Vanessa's earlier experience includes working as a Sustainability Consultant at WSP Asia Pacific from 2011 to 2016, where project management and engineering for environmentally high-performance buildings were key responsibilities. Vanessa began the professional journey as an Ecological Sustainable Design Consultant at Cundall, following an internship at the same firm. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Integrated Water Management from International WaterCentre and a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems from Ecole des Mines de Nantes.
