Jada Shirriel, MS, CLC has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jada is currently serving as a Board Member at Community Forge. Prior to this, Jada worked as the CEO of Healthy Start, Inc. starting in December 2016. From November 2014 to December 2016, they held the position of Director of Development and Strategic Initiatives at Gwens Girls, Inc. Before that, Jada worked as the Director of Marketing and Development at Every Child Inc from August 2011 to November 2014. Jada also has experience as a Communications and Public Relations Coordinator at Ebony Holdings, LLC from October 2010 to August 2011. Jada's earlier roles include serving as a Project Manager at United Way of Allegheny County from January 2009 to October 2010, a Senior Conference Manager at UPMC from July 2007 to January 2009, and a Public Involvement Specialist at Olszak Management Consulting, Inc. from March 2006 to July 2007. Jada started their career as a Development Associate at Carnegie Mellon University in August 2001, where they worked until March 2006.

Jada first pursued their higher education at Carnegie Mellon University from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management (MSPPM). Prior to that, Jada completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing at Morgan State University, spanning from 1997 to 2001. Their academic journey began at Schenley, where they earned a CAS diploma in Center for Advanced Studies/International Studies from 1993 to 1997. Jada's educational experiences have provided their with a well-rounded knowledge base in public policy and management, marketing, and international studies.
