Scott Sauer

Scott Sauer currently serves as the Scientific Associate Director at Healx, an AI-enabled biotech firm focused on accelerating treatments for rare diseases. Prior to joining Healx in August 2025, Scott held multiple roles at Vuja De Sciences from 2019 to 2025, including Director of Scientific Operations & Program Management. Scott's earlier experience includes management of collaborations and intellectual property at SQZ Biotech and a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, where significant research contributions led to multiple publications and awards. Scott earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Duke University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
