Claudia Freigang's work experience includes being the CEO and Co-Founder of Hearing Diagnostics Limited since 2017. Claudia also volunteered at One HealthTech from January 2019 to September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest from May 2015 to May 2017. In this role, they analyzed brain activity data and designed follow-up experiments related to central auditory processing abilities. Before that, Claudia worked as a Research Support Officer at the MRC Institute of Hearing Research from July 2014 to March 2015, focusing on speech understanding and auditory attention in children. Claudia also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at TU München from May 2013 to March 2014, where they studied the perception of spatial cues in cochlear implant users. Claudia began their career as a PhD candidate at Leipzig University, International Max Planck Research School on Neuroscience of Communication from August 2009 to January 2014, conducting research on spatial auditory and audiovisual processing abilities in older adults. Claudia also held an Erasmus Mundus Fellowship at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest from November 2011 to January 2013. Claudia has presented their findings at conferences, given talks, and published in peer-reviewed journals throughout their career.

Claudia Freigang obtained their education in Germany, specifically at Leipzig University. Claudia pursued a bachelor's degree in Biology from 2003 to 2009, completing their studies with a Diplom. Claudia then continued their academic journey at Leipzig University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neurobiology and Neurosciences, graduating in 2014.
