Amy Becktell

Amy Becktell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in analysis, contract management, and advocacy for individuals with hearing loss. Currently, Amy leads the Western Colorado Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America, furthering the organization's mission in education and support. With a prior role as Commissioner for the Colorado Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Amy focused on creating a barrier-free environment and ensuring cultural and linguistic equality. Amy's background includes positions as Contracts Manager and Project Manager at Mind Springs Health & West Springs Hospital, a Revenue Cycle Audit Analyst at St. Mary's Hospital, and various auditing and analytical roles in major organizations such as Dish Network, Wal-Mart Stores, and Jefferson Wells. Academic credentials include a BS in Music Education from Tennessee Technological University and a BBA/AS in Accounting/Computer Science from the University of West Georgia.
