David Spitzer

David Spitzer is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in digital media, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and venture capital. As the Founder and CEO of Upper Diamond, David focuses on delivering impactful DE&I strategies and programming for various companies. Additionally, David serves as an advisor for hearme.app, tackling the issue of loneliness among college students and young professionals through AI-driven peer support. As a Limited Partner at Gaingels, David supports diverse founders to foster an inclusive venture capital ecosystem. David also founded The Learning Academy, providing a modern training solution with an emphasis on DE&I. Previous roles include serving on the founding board of StartOut, where David promoted resources for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs, and holding positions at notable companies like Korn Ferry and Warner Brothers. David holds a BA in Film/History from Vassar College and has continued professional development at UCLA.
