Cara Laskaris

Cara Laskaris is a versatile professional with a robust background in journalism and music. Currently serving as a Commissioning Editor for Country Living at Hearst UK since October 2021, Cara conceptualizes, writes, and produces features for both print and online platforms, alongside managing social media and content creation. Previous experience includes roles as a writer and homes & style assistant for prominent lifestyle publications, as well as freelance reporting. In addition to editorial work, Cara is an accomplished violinist, performing with prestigious orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra and collaborating with renowned artists including Taylor Swift and Jessie Ware. Cara holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from City St George's, University of London, and a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Oxford, complemented by a Master's Degree from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
