Carolene S. Eaddy

VP, Corporate Human Resources at Hearst

Carolene S. Eaddy is vice president of corporate human resources at Hearst. In this role, Eaddy is responsible for day-to-day and strategic oversight of all employment matters for the Hearst corporate teams. She is also responsible for training and compliance functions on HearstEDGE, which is part of Hearst’s Human Capital Management system. Prior to taking on this role, Eaddy was senior counsel for the labor and employment team in the Office of General Counsel at Hearst.

Eaddy joined Hearst in 2004 from Lowenstein Sandler PC, where she was an employee benefits associate at a law practice that represents clients in virtually every sector of the global economy with emphasis on life sciences, technology and funds.

From 1986 to 1992, Eaddy served as assistant vice president at the First National Bank of Chicago. During her tenure at First National Bank of Chicago, Eaddy was responsible for customer relationships and managing loan portfolios for Fortune 500 and media clients.

Eaddy received a bachelor’s degree in history from Wesleyan University and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
