Michael Schink

Michael Schink is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in battery systems and automotive engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at BatteryHeart since March 2025, Michael previously contributed to Zoox as a Mechanical Engineer for HV Battery Systems from January 2022 to November 2024, focusing on the development and integration of high voltage traction batteries. Prior roles include consulting at Yaak Technologies for autonomous driving sensor packages, serving as a Battery Systems Engineer at Lilium with responsibilities in battery module verification and thermal design, and leading advanced development initiatives at Webasto Group for city bus battery systems. Michael holds a Diplom, M. Sc. equivalent in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, completed in January 2009.
