Tara Alexander

Tara Alexander is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in philanthropy and sales coordination. Currently serving as a Senior Philanthropy Officer at Heart & Stroke since January 2021, Tara focuses on managing a portfolio of individual prospects and foundations while collaborating with the BC Gala Committee to enhance fundraising efforts. Previous experience includes roles as Coordinator of Community Fundraising at Heart and Stroke, where Tara built relationships within school communities to drive fundraising initiatives, and various sales and operational positions at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where Tara supported multiple managers and enhanced communication efficiency. Tara holds several diplomas in Hospitality Management, Marketing Management, and is currently pursuing further education in Major Gifts and Capital Campaigns at BCIT.
