Charles Kinder, M.D. has extensive experience in the field of cardiology. Charles worked at Heart Care Centers of Illinois from 2003 to the present as the Director of the Heart Rhythm Program. Charles founded this program and managed a team of 26 members across multiple hospitals and offices in suburban Chicago. Charles has performed over 10,000 procedures and sees an average of 12 cases and 150 office visits per week.

In 2006, Dr. Kinder joined Corazon Consulting Inc. as a Consultant. In this role, they specialized in developing new electrophysiology (EP) programs for community hospitals, including creating business plans, recruiting physicians and staff, and ensuring quality assurance. Charles also reviewed efficiency and quality metrics for established EP programs.

In 2012, Dr. Kinder became a member of the Board of Directors at the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) Consulting Company.

Additionally, Dr. Kinder worked as a Health Care Audit Defense Expert as a Consultant starting in 2009.

Charles also pursued entrepreneurial ventures and started a small business called DocFroc in 2009. Charles created antibacterial lab coats and scrubs, sold them through various channels, and obtained design and utility patents.

Dr. Kinder's early career involved working as a Private Practice Electrophysiologist at the Cardiology Clinic of San Antonio from 1996 to 2003.

Charles Kinder, M.D. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1981 to 1985. Charles then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1985 to 1989. Following that, they completed an Intern/Resident program at Brigham and Women's in Boston, MA from 1989 to 1991. From 1991 to 1993, they pursued a Fellowship in General Cardiology at Loyola University Medical Center. Subsequently, they completed two Fellowships in Electrophysiology, one at Loyola University Medical School from 1993 to 1994, and the other at the University of Chicago Medical School from 1994 to 1995.
