Amy Reamer, LMFT, RPT-S is the Owner/Founder/Executive Director of Heart & Mind, a solution-focused, strength-based, trauma-informed expressive psychotherapy practice. Amy integrates the latest neuroscience research into evidence-based practices for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Prior to this, they worked as a Clinical Supervisor at Pathways to Life and as a Clinical Coordinator at Intercept Youth Services. Amy also has experience as a Counselor at Compass Counseling Services of Virginia and as a Family Counselor at the Attachment and Trauma Institute. Earlier in their career, they served as a Post Adoption Case Manager at Coordinators2inc.

Amy Reamer, LMFT, RPT-S has a strong educational background in the field of counseling. Amy obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services Management from the University of Phoenix in 2009. In 2012, Amy completed their Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. Amy furthered their education by obtaining a Post Masters Certificate in Play Therapy from Capella University in 2014. Additionally, Amy has obtained certification as a Marriage and Family Therapist [Supervisor] from the Board of Counseling.
