Daniel F Vanegas

Daniel F Vanegas is a seasoned professional in policy, advocacy, and campaign management with a robust background in government and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Policy and Advocacy at Heart of Florida United Way since March 2022, Daniel's prior experience includes roles as an aide to Commissioners Christine Moore and Emily Bonilla with Orange County Government, and as Political Director for Meyers & Washington LLC, where campaign strategies were designed and implemented. A strong educational foundation in political science was established at the University of Central Florida, complemented by an Associate's Degree from Valencia College. Daniel also has notable experience in the rowing community, having coached a state championship team and served in various capacities related to election campaigns and governmental affairs.
