Laura Handy

Laura Handy is the current Executive Director at HEART OF OREGON CORPS INC. Prior to their current position, they were a Residential Counselor at Seneca Center from October 2004 to April 2005. Laura has also been a Lead Wilderness Guide at Meet the Wilderness from April 2004 to October 2006. Laura's experience also includes being a Youth Program Coordinator at YWCA of Pierce County from June 2001 to May 2003.

Laura Handy earned a Master of Arts in Transformative Leadership from the California Institute of Integral Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Composition, Women's Studies from the University of Puget Sound.

Joe Whitlatch - Alumni Leader, Crew Leader, Patrick Orr - Program Director, AmeriCorps & Stewardship, and Cathy Mandeville - Thrift Store Manager report to Laura Handy.
