Hayley Shillito

Hayley Shillito is a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience in student engagement and drama education. As the Local College Director at Heart of Yorkshire Education Group since August 2022, Hayley oversees various initiatives aimed at enhancing student experience. Previously, as Head of Student Experience & Engagement at Wakefield College from July 2012 to August 2022, Hayley contributed to the senior leadership team while managing work placements and skills development. Additional roles include Student Experience Manager at Horizon Arts, where highlights involved taking productions to the Edinburgh Festival, and teaching drama at Wakefield College and Helen O'Grady. Hayley holds a first-class BA(hons) degree in Drama and Dramatics from The University of Huddersfield, along with a postgraduate certificate in Further Education.
