Andrew D. Koch, VMD

Andrew D. Koch, VMD has extensive work experience in the veterinary field. Andrew D. began their career as an Associate Doctor at Banfield Pet Hospital in August 2011, where they provided high-quality veterinary care and emphasized preventive care. Andrew D. also showcased their proficiency in both soft tissue and oral surgery. In May 2015, they were promoted to Chief of Staff at the same company, and they attended the National Field Leadership Conference in 2019. In April 2019, they were recognized as the Pennsylvania Chief of Staff of the year. In July 2019, Andrew joined Heart + Paw as a Partner Doctor, where they took on the role of the primary lead for the Center, overseeing team members and all services provided. Their main focus at Heart + Paw is preventive care using low-stress handling techniques and delivering an elevated client experience. Recently, in February 2022, they assumed the position of Director of Operations at Heart + Paw.

Andrew D. Koch, VMD, completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Psychobiology from Binghamton University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Andrew D. then pursued their Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) degree at the University of Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2011.
