Julie N. Sanders, DVM

Julie N. Sanders, DVM has diverse work experience in the veterinary field. Julie N. is currently working as the Director of Operations at Heart + Paw since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Volunteer contributor for the AVMA council on Veterinary service from 2019 onwards. Julie also worked at Banfield Pet Hospital from 2014 to 2021, where they served as the Director of Veterinary Quality, NJ South, and previously as the Chief of Staff. Before that, they worked as an Emergency Veterinarian at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital from 2011 to 2013 and at Emergency Veterinary Services of Roanoke from 2010 to 2011. Julie N. also worked as an IACUC veterinarian at Radford University from 2010 to 2011 and as an Interim Veterinarian-in-Charge & Spay/Neuter Veterinarian at South Central Spay Neuter Clinic from 2010 to 2011. Julie's earlier experience includes working as an Associate Veterinarian at Town and Country Veterinary Clinic from 2009 to 2010, and as a Student Representative at Nestle Purina Pet Care Company from 2006 to 2009. Julie N. also worked as a Tetra Care Customer Support at United Pet Group in 2006.

Julie N. Sanders, DVM received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Biology from McDaniel College from 1993 to 1997. Julie N. then went on to pursue their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, specializing in Veterinary Medicine from 2005 to 2009.
