Emily Murtagh is an experienced Electrophysiology Technologist at Providence Health Care since November 2016, and has held multiple key roles within the cardiac physiology field. Currently serving as a member of the Communications Committee for the Canadian Heart Rhythm Society since September 2021, Murtagh also contributes as an Electrophysiology Instructor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Previous positions include Vice Chair and member of the Core Concepts in EP Committee for the Heart Rhythm Society, as well as a member of the Allied Professional Council from 2022 to 2024. In terms of education, Murtagh holds a BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool, along with further qualifications in healthcare simulation.
