Mabel Imala

Mabel Imala, CPA, currently serves as Senior Controller at the Heart Rhythm Society since September 2020, and previously held the position of Controller. Prior to this, Mabel served as Director of Accounting at Divine Mercy University from April 2017 to August 2020, and as Finance Manager at Nultan Group, where responsibilities included overseeing financial operations in technology sectors. Additional experience includes roles as Finance Associate at American Bird Conservancy and The Brookings Institution, and a Financial Analyst position at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, focusing on government-sponsored enterprise mortgage portfolios. Mabel's earlier roles include Senior Internal Auditor at Nestle Group, where significant improvements in process controls were achieved, and Accountant at the Department of Revenue, managing payroll and financial analysis. Mabel holds an MBA in Finance from Howard University School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University.
