Heart to Heart International
Maddy Langemach is an experienced Disaster Response Manager at Heart to Heart International, overseeing emergency medical teams and health infrastructure support for major disaster relief efforts, including responses to the Kentucky Flooding, Hurricane Ian, and the Turkiye and Syria Earthquakes. Previously, Maddy served as a Disaster Response Coordinator, ensuring emergency medical teams were properly equipped. In addition, Maddy has a background with the Consortium for Humanitarian Service and Education, developing training materials and leading simulated disaster exercises, and coordinated college student disaster relief efforts with the Missouri Baptist Convention. Maddy's early career included roles as a sales associate and intern in disaster relief administration. Maddy holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency and Disaster Management from Northwest Missouri State University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Emergency and Developing Contexts from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland.
