Haytham Albizem

Haytham Albizem, MD, FACP, FACC has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Haytham is currently the CEO and President of Monitor Health, a privately owned company established in 2012. Previously, they served as the CEO and President of Heart & Vascular Care Consultants, LLC, a rapidly growing healthcare group in the Northeast USA, from 2008 onwards. Dr. Albizem also held the position of Director of Cardiac and Vascular Laboratory at Taylor Hospital, PA, in the Crozer-Keystone Health System from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Mercy Catholic Medical Center from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, Dr. Albizem served as the Director of the Catheterization Laboratory at Capital Health System in Trenton, NJ, from 2001 to 2002. Haytham began their career as the Chief of Medicine/Chairman of Medical Section at Russellville Hospital and later served as the Chairman of the Special Care Committee at the same hospital from 1999 to 2000. Overall, Dr. Albizem possesses a wealth of experience and expertise in various leadership roles within the healthcare field.

Haytham Albizem, MD, FACP, FACC completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Damascus University from 1980 to 1986. Haytham then pursued further medical training and completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Cornell University from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 1993 to 1996, where they specialized in Cardiology and became a Cardiology Fellow.
