Franco Sasieta

Franco Sasieta is a Principal Software Engineer at Heartbeat Health since July 2023, after previously serving as Director of Software Engineering at Optum from September 2021 to July 2023, where responsibility included overseeing the technical direction of One Pass, a significant fitness subscription product. Earlier experience at Rally Health spanned from November 2016 to September 2021, featuring roles from Senior Software Engineering Manager to Software Engineer, focused on building distributed web services and applications. Franco's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bowdoin College, where tutoring and mentoring roles were also held, alongside a research fellowship culminating in the development of a software tool for real-time gait model manipulation applied to robotics.
