Kristen Quinn, MD has extensive work experience in various research and medical roles. Kristen co-founded Heartbeat Tech Inc. in 2021 and currently serves as the CEO. Prior to that, they worked as a General Surgery Resident at the Medical University of South Carolina starting in 2018. Before pursuing their medical career, Dr. Quinn worked as a Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University from 2009 to 2013, focusing on clinical neuroscience, biological psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, and visual cognitive neuroscience. Kristen also worked as a Research Assistant at Georgia State University from 2009 to 2011, where they focused on neurophysics and the biophysics of neurons and brain networks. Additionally, Dr. Quinn served as a Research Assistant at Emory University School of Medicine in 2010, studying the neural correlates of learning and memory, particularly in relation to age and neurologic disease/injury like Alzheimer's disease.

Kristen Quinn, MD has an extensive education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University, which they completed from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine from 2014 to 2018, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge and specialization, Dr. Quinn joined the Medical University of South Carolina from 2018 to 2025 for their General Surgery Residency. Additionally, they completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the same institution from 2020 to 2022.
