Ian A. Cook, MD DLFAPA has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and organizations. Furthermore, Dr. Cook has worked as a Psychiatrist in the Mood Disorders and TMS Programs at the GLA VA Health under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Ian A. has also served as the Director of the UCLA Depression Research & Clinic Program at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, where they focused on improving care for depression through the development of new treatments and collaborative research.

Dr. Cook has made significant contributions to the field of psychiatry and neuromodulation and continues to be actively involved in innovative research and patient care.

Ian A. Cook, MD DLFAPA received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Yale University School of Medicine. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) from Princeton University, specializing in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) as well as Bioengineering.

In terms of certifications, Dr. Cook achieved the distinction of being a Distinguished Life Fellow (DLFAPA) from the American Psychiatric Association in May 2022. Ian A. also holds an ABPN certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc., which they obtained in 1996.
