Carly Bartel has a diverse work experience in various design roles. Carly is currently working as the Director of Design at Heartex since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of Design at ZoomInfo from March 2022 to August 2022. Carly also held the positions of Senior Team Lead, UX/UI and UX/UI Designer at ZoomInfo from April 2021 to March 2022 and from January 2020 to April 2021, respectively. Before joining ZoomInfo, Carly worked as a UX/UI Designer & Developer at NeverBounce from July 2017 to November 2020. Carly also gained experience as the Lead User Experience Designer and Front End Developer at thunder::tech from March 2014 to June 2017. Additionally, they worked as a UI Designer at Betchyu for a short period in early 2014. Carly started their career as a Data Visualization Artist/Web Designer and later became the Lead Web/UI Designer, Biomedical Artist at Case Western Reserve University, where they worked from July 2013 to March 2014 and from December 2012 to March 2014, respectively. Carly also created, designed, and developed a website called Grief & Growth dedicated to helping trauma victims from September 2012 to June 2013. Carly gained early experience as a Medical Art and Photography Department Intern at Cleveland Clinic from June 2012 to August 2012, where they collaborated with medical professionals on illustrations for publications, completed illustrations for patient education, and worked closely with staff and doctors.
Carly Bartel completed their high school education at Judge Memorial Catholic High School from 2005 to 2009, receiving an Honors High School Diploma. Carly then pursued further education at the Cleveland Institute of Art from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with a focus on Biomedical Art and Graphic Design. Additionally, between 2010 and 2013, they cross-registered at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland State University, although their field of study during this period is unspecified.
