Allison Barron (Elder)

Allison (Elder) Barron has extensive experience in healthcare and community service. Currently serving as a Community Liaison and Bereavement Coordinator at Hearth Hospice since February 2017, Allison also leads a "Journey of Hope" grief recovery group as a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. Since October 2014, as Co-Founder of Elevate Life International, Allison has been involved in operational management of a transition home focused on reintegrating individuals released from prison into society. Additionally, Allison owns Polly's Pies & Tasties, creating a variety of desserts since November 2010. Previous roles include positions as an Oncology Nurse at Erlanger Oncology and Staff Nurse at Chattanooga Ear, Nose and Throat, as well as roles in pediatric care and patient relations. Allison completed nursing education at Erlanger School of Nursing, with a diploma earned in 1982.
