Maureen Powelson

Maureen Powelson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Maureen currently holds the position of Director of Employee Engagement & Communications at Hearthside Food Solutions, a role they have been in since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Training Program Manager at the same company from September 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Hearthside Food Solutions, Powelson worked at Mooseheart Child City & School for a significant period. Maureen served as an Assistant Coach for High School Girls Cross Country from August 2016 to September 2021, and also held the role of Assistant Coach for High School & Middle School Girls Track from March 2016 to September 2021.

Powelson's experience also includes a role as a Training Manager at Moose International, Inc. from November 2015 to September 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Program Coordinator at Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley from June 2014 to November 2015.

In the field of education, Powelson served as a Reading Tutor at Geneva Community Unit School District from September 2011 to December 2013. Maureen also worked as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Midland Public Schools in Midland, MI, from August 1997 to June 1998, and as a 3rd Grade Teacher at the same school from August 1996 to June 1997.

Maureen Powelson attended Michigan State University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching.
