Zaid Ismail

Zaid Ismail has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Zaid began their career as a Sales Executive at 2degrees in 2010. In 2013, they took on the role of Head of Acquisitions & Corporate Development at SmartMed Limited. In 2014, they were a Lecturer in Business & Entrepreneurship at NZSE: New Zealand School of Education, and also served as Chairman of the Advisory Committee. In 2015, they became Corporate Sales Director at Konica Minolta New Zealand. In 2017, they Co-Founded and served as COO of HealthDex, a marketplace for health data. In 2018, they took on the role of Country Manager - Australia at Workato, where they set up and developed the official office and presence in Australasia. In 2016, they became Founding Venture Partner at Maverick Ventures. Most recently, in 2020, they Co-Founded HeartLab, a medtech startup transforming cardiology using Artificial Intelligence.

Zaid Ismail is currently enrolled in the University of Otago.
